The Cliché Blogger Library | My recent favourite reads

We've all fallen victim to 'Instagram/bloggers/YouTube made me buy it', me included! But books are one thing that I'm a particular sucker for...
I love anything that's style, interiors, beauty or skincare orientated, and if it's pretty to look at too...I'm buying that damn book!
We moved house in January, and as a book lover, I've found books to be one of the best decor 'accessories'. They're perfect for filling those small spaces that are tricky to style, or as a big style statement when you have a bookcase full of these pretties. Although I have to admit I originally bought these books as style and prop pieces, I have recentlymade an effort to read them all, and I'm now absolutely hooked!
I remember when I first started blogging, I searched the internet high and low for a 'Blogger Books' post ('cause let's face it, lots of us now have all the same ones!) but I couldn't find anything anywhere! So over time I've sniffed out all the blogger faves and found them all to be perfect for styling AND good reads! I thought I'd share some of my favourites with you guys today, along with a little bit on what makes them so great!

Bloom: Navigating Life and Style - Estee Lalonde
An amazing book by one of my favourite ever blogger & vloggers. Estee's 'Life & Style' has evolved so much over the last 6/7 years, and she documents it all in her book. A beautiful collection of life-lesson stories, mixed with some amazing style tips & self-growth advice.

Love x Style x Life - Garance Doré
A blogger staple already, this book by an amazing French fashion illustrator, Garance Dore, is all this French-lady-chic. She shares her stories about the early days of blogging, and some tips on how to approach 'Life, Style & Life' like a laid back, effortlessly chic, Modern day Parisian beauty.

The Scandinavian Home: Interiors inspired by light – Niki Brantmark
A new release  in April 2017, this is the perfect coffee table book for all Scandi lovers. Niki is the author of My Scandinavian Blog, and is a Londoner living in Sweden. Her blog is all thing Scandi interiors-perfection. Her book has lots of inspirational Scandi home images, as well their fascinating back stories. We recently moved, so I'm drawing a lot of inspiration from this beauty!

Pretty Iconic: A Personal Look at the Beauty Products that Changed the World - Sali Hughes
Beauty-pro Sali Hughes's book, Pretty Iconic, is collection and celebration of all of everyone beauty favourites; past, present and future. It's full of gorgeous imagery and a great read all round!

How To Be Parisian: Wherever You Are - Anne Berest
Can you tell yet that I'm obsessed with all things Parisian? This book is the Bible for anyone who wants to care less and look better for it. This book teaches us the modern Parisian Women's ways, and the art of not giving a f***. Perfect!

The Curated Closet: Discover Your Personal Style and Build Your Dream Wardrobe - Anuschka Rees
This book is my fave at the moment, as it has already completely changed the way I view fashion, consumerism and personal style. The over-arching lesson teaches us how to feel less flustered about ourselves and our clothing by being more thoughtful and selective about our 'closet'.

The New Garconne: How to be a Modern Gentlewoman - Navaz Batliwalla
A beautiful and concise book on grown-up style and attitude. Teaching us all how to rock the masculine-feminine aesthetic. How to feel and look put together at all times, and feel even better on the inside!

The first 'blogger' book I bought, and most definitely worth all the hype it gets. Another book from my beauty-pro favourite, Sali Hughes, that shares some of the best beauty tips and trick I have read. A must-read for all beauty lovers!

So, there we go - my current fave non-fiction, blogger favourite reads! Let me know what you think of my picks if you've read them already, or if you plan to in the future!

Review - The Ordinary Skincare by Deiciem

Skincare is a big deal at the moment - it's everywhere! It's become really 'cool' to look after your skin, and have all the latest and greatest products. Even though I love this movement, as its encouraging people to think about the health and condition of their skin, it still feels like, well, overkill.
