Having been a lover of interior minimalism and Scandi & Nordic design principles for a few years now, I’m definitely happy to see a shift in popular colour and textures being used in the type of interior décor. Don’t get me wrong, I love a bit of black and white as much as the next person – there’s something really therapeutic, relaxed and calming about its simplicity. But it is great to see a lot of neutrals being injected into the mix more and more lately.
H&M Home is my weakness. I have the H&M app on my phone, and I find myself browsing the homeware section at least once every one or two days. For me, H&M get it so right almost all the time, and I’m always so excited to see what they’ll bring to the table next!
I think neutrals with plants are the perfect way to upgrade an otherwise black and white room, injecting a little more warmth and texture, and some natural character along the way. I’ve put together a list of my latest H&M Home neutral finds, but I’m sure there’ll be a lot more coming my way as we get on with our home renovation journey! (Actually, the less said about that the better at the moment, I think…!)
For me, adding lighter shades of wood is the perfect way to give a space more character and charm, and is an easy win for making it feel more warm, inviting & homely. A few smaller pieces with some simple pattern and print can also bring a usually boring area or space to life. For example, we have a a really plain grey sofa in our living room, and so I always look to choose cushions with either simple colours and a more exciting pattern or print, o the other way around, with a simple print with a more contrasting or dramatic colour palette. I think cushion covers are some H&M Home consistently do well, and offer a great variety of fabrics and prints all year around!
If I’m ever looking for the perfect finishing touches, H&M Home is always my first port of call – they not let me down yet! With regular sales & H&M Club Member discounts, a great app for browsing and new trending styles & designs in their ‘New In’ section, H&M Home is one of my all-time favourite homeware stores. As you might be able to tell, I can’t recommend them enough!
