Well, I’ve been using the Anastasia Beverly Hills – Dipbrow Pomade for about a year now, so I thought it was about time I give it the raving review it deserves…so here we go!
I ordered this about a year ago after trying the Brow Wiz, and
hating it…! I must admit, when it arrived I had little faith in it, but
it very quickly proved itself to me. Now whenever I wear it, I absolutely love
staring at my brows in the mirror!
The shade I have is Ash brown; it’s a cool
medium-brown shade that can vary in it’s intensity by adding more or less
product. Personally, I don’t like the block-y, instabrow look, so I just use
the pomade to fill in and create a little more definition that I naturally
have. Don’t get me wrong, this thing can turn you into Robby Rotten if that’s
what you want to go for! But as my natural brows are short and sparse, this
stuff works miracles in making my look brows more put together!
The pot is 4g, and
is around £15, but it lasts for aaaaages! I took these photos when I first got
the product, but there is still so much of it left – way over half!
I use the accompanying brush with it, number 14, which is again £15 but well worth shelling out for just for it’s precision and ease of use. Thank God the blunt, fat lines of eyebrow pencils are a thing of the past! The brush gives a super sharp effect every time. The other end of the brush has a great spoolie, which is perfect for blending and diffusing the product after you’ve applied it. I also use it to brush my brows upwards before application to get a good solid bottom line.
The product is really easy to apply, and doesn’t move around half as much as other waxy bow products I’ve tried in the past. And it seems to last all day on me – which is a massive plus!
All in all, my fave brow product so far! I’ve been suggested to try the Tom Ford eyebrow products next, so maybe I can write a follow up post to compare them?
